Goal has updated its ranking of the favorites to win the Ballon d'Or in 2023.
The top three of the list have not changed. PSG's Argentine striker Lionel Messi is still in first place, his team-mate Kylian Mbappe is in second, and the third number in the ranking is Manchester City's Norwegian striker Erling Haaland.
Another PSG player, Brazilian striker Neymar is on the fourth place, while the fifth position is occupied by the Polish striker of Barcelona Robert Lewandowski.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, a Georgian midfielder for Napoli, is in eighth place.
Messi, 35, holds the record for the number of Ballon d'Or with 7 awards to his name. In 2022, the title of the best footballer in the world was awarded to Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema.
