Messi to Stream MLS Playoff Match with GoPro Camera

Lionel Messi, captain of MLS club Inter Miami and 2022 World Cup champion, will be streaming the first match of the playoff series using a GoPro camera.

The league will attach a special camera to the 37-year-old forward, allowing fans to experience the game through Messi's eyes. The live broadcast of the playoff match will be available exclusively on MLS's social media platforms.

The first match of the 2024 MLS playoff series will take place on October 25, when Messi and his team will face Atlanta United, who made it to the playoffs after winning a wild card round against Montreal (2-2 in regular time, 5-4 in penalties).

On October 22, it was announced that Messi was recognized as the best player in MLS for the month of October.
