Forward Lionel Messi from Inter Miami and the Argentina national team plans to live stream his team's debut playoff match in the MLS against Atlanta United.
The match is set for October 26 and will kick off at 3:30 GMT+3. It will take place at the Chase Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, USA.
The camera will broadcast live from the pitch and will be available for viewing on MLS's social media accounts. The stream is expected to start five minutes before the opening whistle, marking a first broadcasting of a high-level match.
The league will equip Messi with a special camera, allowing fans to watch the game from Messi’s perspective. A GoPro will be strapped to the Argentine's chest, and the playoff match against Atlanta will be exclusively available on MLS's TikTok.
The last time these teams faced each other was on September 19, ending in a 2-2 draw.
It’s worth noting that Lionel Messi has scored 20 goals and provided 11 assists in 19 MLS matches this season.
Previously, Messi was recognized as the best MLS player for the month of October.
