Messi Reveals Why He Walks So Much During Games

Inter Miami and Argentina striker Lionel Messi has revealed why he walks so much on the pitch during matches.

AS quotes Messi, referring to his interview with Clank:

Do I walk too much? When I walk, I analyze the opponent's positioning, how we stand when we don't have the ball, get away from the marker and be able to initiate a counterattack. Running without a ball was never my thing.

Messi is currently playing for Inter Miami of the American league MLS since 2023. The 37-year-old footballer's contract runs until 2025. According to the Transfermarkt website, the transfer value of the Argentine is estimated at € 30 million.

Note that Messi has won the Ballon d'Or eight times in his career.

Earlier Messi told when he first started playing football, and also spoke about his attempts to take up tennis.
