The Argentina national team forward Lionel Messi shared a post on his social media about winning the Copa America and addressing the injury sustained during the final match.

Copa America is over and firstly I want to thank everyone for the messages and greetings. I'm doing well, thank God, and hopefully soon I can be on the pitch again enjoying what I love doing most.
Messi began his career with Barcelona and is an eight-time Ballon d'Or winner and six-time Golden Boot winner. He has been playing for the Argentine national team since 2005.
Previously, Argentina's head coach Lionel Scaloni commented on Messi's injury during the national team's campaign.
