Argentina national football team forward Lionel Messi became the best player of the American MLS club Inter Miami at the end of the season-2023, as officially announced by the press service of the Florida club.
The 36-year-old striker, who became world champion in 2022 and winner of the Ballon d'Or-2023, joined Inter Miami in mid-July 2023. During that time, the Argentine star has played six games in MLS (one goal, two assists) and seven games in the MLS and MX League Cup (ten goals, one assist).
Messi's contract with the Floridians runs until the end of December 2025, and the market value of the striker, according to Transfermarkt, is €35 million.
On November 11, Messi showed his Ballon d'Or to Inter Miami fans at a meeting before a friendly match against New York City. Earlier, the striker said that he does not intend to end his career as a footballer for as long as his shape allows.
