Lionel Messi, the forward for Argentina's national team and MLS club Inter Miami, received a special award from the newspaper Marca.
The 37-year-old Argentine was honored for breaking the record for the most trophies in football history. During his time with Barcelona, PSG, Inter Miami, and the Argentina national team, Messi has won 46 different titles.
Currently, Messi plays for Inter Miami, having joined the club from Paris Saint-Germain in July 2023. In the ongoing season, the star has played in 18 league matches, scoring 17 goals and providing ten assists.
Messi’s contract with Inter Miami is valid until the end of December 2025, and his market value is estimated at 25 million euros, according to Transfermarkt.
