French PSG may put forward Kylian Mbappe on the bench for the new season if he does not extend his contract or leave the club in the current transfer window. This is reported by The Athletic.
The current agreement of the 24-year-old footballer is valid until the summer of 2024. There is an option to extend the contract for one more season, but earlier the striker notified the management of the Parisians that he will not activate it.
Earlier it was reported that Mbappé is very close to moving to Real Madrid. According to the media, the Frenchman is dissatisfied with many of his teammates. His teammates believe that the player disrespected the team by criticizing the results of PSG in the Champions League.
Last season, the Frenchman played 43 matches for PSG, scored 41 goals and made ten assists.
