French forward Kylian Mbappé, who scored a double in Qatar's 3-1 World Cup quarter-final against Poland, has reached the 250 goal mark of his career, Opta reports.
It took the Frenchman 360 games to do so. Mbappé crossed the 250-goal mark faster than Portugal's Cristiano Ronaldo, who needed 510 games, and Argentina's Lionel Messi (379).
Mbappé leads the Qatar World Cup scoring race with five goals. Moreover, the PSG forward became the first player to score eight goals in the World Cup before he reached the age of 24. The 23-year-old Frenchman currently has nine goals at the world championships.
The Blues, led by Didier Deschamps, will play England in the quarterfinals of the 2022 World Cup. The meeting will take place on December 10, beginning at 22:00 GMT+3.
