PSG striker Kylian Mbappe expressed an opinion that football fans have too high expectations from players at the moment.
GQ France quotes Mbappe as saying:
Kylian Mbappe
We're in an age of over-consumption, where people expect a lot from players. I've shown that pressure doesn’t affect me negatively, and I’d even say that I need it to perform at my best. Pressure allows me to maintain the degree of excellence required to play at the highest level.
Mbappe has been playing for PSG since 2017, winning five Ligue 1 titles with the club.
Earlier, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez evaded the fan's question about the possible signing of Mbappe. According to media reports, the captain of the French national team will not renew his contract with PSG and will leave the Parisians in the summer of 2024.
