French striker PSG Kylian Mbappé has agreed to play for the Parisian club until 2026. Reporter Marco Conterio reported on his social networks that the forward is ready to extend his contract.
The source also points out that from 2024 on the new contract will activate the predetermined release fee.
Recall, earlier Mbappé said that he would not extend the contract with PSG after its end in the summer of 2024. The club wanted to either make a new contract, or sell the striker to another team. Mbappé's departure as a free agent could cause major financial difficulties for the metropolitan club.
The footballer has been playing for the Parisians since 2018. In total, he has played 262 matches for the team, scored 215 goals and gave 98 assists. Transfermarkt website estimates Mbappé's market value at €180 million.
