French striker Kylian Mbappe is the fastest player at the 2024 European Championship held in Germany.
According to the data provided by the press service of the tournament, Mbappe accelerated to 36.5 km/h. Second place went to Spain's Ferran Torres with a speed of 36 km/h, while Slovenia's Benjamin Šeško was third, reaching 35.9 km/h.
Mbappe played four matches at the tournament, in which he scored one goal and gave an assist. At the same time, ex-footballer Emmanuel Petit believes that the forward is not worthy to be the captain of the national team.
The French national team with Mbappe reached the semifinals of Euro 2024, where they will meet Spain. The game will take place on Tuesday, July 9, at 22:00 GMT+3.
The second semifinal between the Netherlands and England will take place on Wednesday, July 10, and will also start at 22:00 GMT+3.
