Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe has assured the club's management that the rape allegations against him are a scheme orchestrated by PSG, specifically their president Nasser Al-Khelaifi.
According to Cadena Ser, Mbappe believes the situation was a trap set by Al-Khelaifi, and claims that information regarding his potential guilt in the alleged rape is being spread by media outlets controlled by PSG.
Earlier, police launched an investigation following a complaint about rape at a hotel in central Stockholm, where Mbappe and his friends were staying.
Currently, Mbappe and PSG are involved in legal disputes over the club's outstanding salary debt of 55 million euros owed to the forward.
Previously, Kylian Mbappe's lawyer, Marie-Alix Canu-Bernard, indicated that the player plans to file a defamation suit.
