
Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe has been recognized as the Player of the Week in the UEFA Champions League following the second leg of the playoffs.
Mbappe scored a hat trick in the home match against Manchester City, which ended in a 3-1 victory for los Blancos. Thus, the team secured their place in the Round of 16.
Other candidates for Player of the Week included PSG midfielder Vitinha, PSV winger Noa Lang, and Benfica midfielder Orkun Kökçü.
Mbappe became the first player in Champions League history to achieve hat tricks at both the Santiago Bernabéu and Camp Nou.
