Marca: Kylian Mbappe Cleared to Play in the 2024 Intercontinental Cup Final

Spanish newspaper Marca reported that Real Madrid forward and French national team player Kylian Mbappe, who has recovered from an injury, will be able to participate in the final of the 2024 Intercontinental Cup.

On December 10, during the sixth matchday of the UEFA Champions League group stage game against Atalanta (3:2), the 25-year-old forward sustained a left thigh injury. On December 17, it was announced that "Donatello" had returned to training with the main group.

The final of the 2024 Intercontinental Cup, in which Carlo Ancelotti's squad will face Mexican team Pachuca, is scheduled for December 18 at the Lusail Stadium in Doha, Qatar. The match will start at 20:00 GMT+3.

In 15 matches played in the 2024/2025 La Liga season, Mbappe has scored nine goals and provided one assist. He also has two goals and one assist in six Champions League matches. Mbappe's contract with los Blancos runs until the end of June 2029. The Transfermarkt website estimates the Frenchman’s value at €180 million.
