Manuel Neuer Breaks Schweinsteiger's Record For Most Matches In Major Tournaments

Goalkeeper Manuel Neuer started in the quarterfinal match of Euro 2024 against Spain, breaking Bastian Schweinsteiger's record for the most games played for the German national team in major tournaments.

Neuer now has 39 games under his belt, one more than the retired Bastian Schweinsteiger. In this regard, he is only surpassed by Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo, who has 51 matches.
