Manchester United's Management Aims To Keep Ten Hag As Head Coach

The Guardian reports that one of Manchester United's new co-owners, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, is impressed with the work of head coach Erik ten Hag and wants to keep the specialist in his role at least until the end of the season.

Ratcliffe, who oversees sporting activities, and his assistant Sir Dave Brailsford think that the Dutchman should stay in his position until the end of the season before any serious personnel decisions are made.

The management of Manchester United intends to provide full support to the coach and involve him in transfer decision-making processes.

Earlier, it was reported that Simone Inzaghi declined to lead Manchester United. ESPN reported that two Manchester United fans were detained after the quarter-final of the FA Cup against Liverpool (4-3) for chanting about the tragedy at Hillsborough Stadium.
