Manchester United Initiate Transfer Talks to Replace Onana

According to The Sun, English club Manchester United has made an inquiry regarding the potential transfer of goalkeeper Joan Garcia from Spanish club Espanyol.

Sources claim that Manchester United are exploring options to replace their current starting goalkeeper, Andre Onana. Joan Garcia's contract with Espanyol includes a release fee set at €24.6 million.

In the current season of La Liga, the 23-year-old Garcia has participated in 32 matches. Transfermarkt estimates his market value at €20 million. The goalkeeper’s contract with Espanyol runs until the summer of 2028.

Currently, Manchester United sit in 14th place in the Premier League table, having earned 38 points from 33 matches played.
