Manchester City won the 2024 Community Shield after beating Manchester United 7-6 in a penalty shootout at Wembley Stadium.

Manchester City won the Community Shield for the first time since 2019 after a streak of losing the final match each of the past three years. The Community Shield title is the 18th trophy, including six Premier League titles, Pep Guardiola has won in his nine-year managerial career at City.
