According to AS, it has been revealed that Miguel Angel (Michel), the manager of Spanish team Girona, is drawing interest from two English giants – London's Chelsea and Manchester City.
Representatives from Chelsea have already held initial talks with the 48-year-old specialist. The leadership of Chelsea is not satisfied with the results of the team under Argentine Mauricio Pochettino.
Manchester City sees Angel as a possible replacement for Pep Guardiola in case he leaves the club. It is worth noting that Girona and City are part of the same City Group sports holding.
Currently, Girona is in second place in La Liga, with 62 points after 28 matches. Miguel Angel took over the club in 2021. Previously, he managed Huesca and Rayo Vallecano.
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola hinted in an interview with the BBC that Klopp might return to coaching.
