Timur Lepsaya, a well-known sports manager and official, responded to rumors about midfielder Bitello's possible transfer from Moscow side Dynamo to Brazilian club Botafogo, speaking exclusively to Telecomasia.net.
– There have been reports that Bitello wants to leave Dynamo. Rumors suggest that he spoke with the Brazilians from Zenit and was dissatisfied with his salary, and he seeks to increase it. He is going to either leave or renew his contract. Will Dynamo manage to keep him?
– From what I've heard and what I know from my Brazilian partners, Bitello is indeed attracting interest from several clubs in Brazil. Whether Dynamo can keep him or not is uncertain. I don’t know the details of what is happening between the player and the club. I gather information from public sources that say there is interest.
I also believe that Dynamo are not willing to let him go for less than the market value, so if they get a good offer, they will sell him. If not, he will stay. As for personal conditions regarding the extension or non-extension of the contract, it’s the job of agents and clubs to find common ground. We’ll see how it goes.
Bitello has played 15 matches for Dynamo in the Russian Premier League this season, scoring one goal and providing nine assists.
