Man Utd Want Forward from 18th Place Team in Premier League

According to The Athletic, 22-year-old Liam Delap, a former Manchester City youth player currently with Ipswich Town, is Manchester United's primary target for the upcoming summer transfer window.

It is noted that if Ipswich are relegated from the Premier League, the buyout clause for the 22-year-old player could be around 46 million euros for Manchester United. Chelsea have also expressed interest in Delap.

This season, Delap has played 35 matches across all competitions, scoring 12 goals and providing two assists. His contract with Ipswich Town runs until the end of June 2029, and Transfermarkt estimates him at 35 million euros.

Currently, Manchester United sit in 14th place in the English league table with 38 points, while Ipswich Town occupy the 18th position with just 21 points.

Recently, Manchester United unexpectedly lost to Wolverhampton at Old Trafford, with a score of 0-1 in the 33rd round of the Premier League.

Additionally, the management of the Red Devils is considering the possibility of selling 28-year-old goalkeeper Andre Onana to clubs in Saudi Arabia.
