English club Manchester United are planning to part with several players this summer in order to improve their wage bill. The Sun reported the development.
According to sources, the club does not intend to renew the contracts of several players whose contracts expire at the end of the current season. Forward Anthony Martial is one of those players.
It is also noted that Manchester United plans to part ways with Casemiro, Raphael Varane, Jadon Sancho, Donny van de Beek and a number of other loan players, as well as not renewing the loan contract of Sofyan Amrabat, whose rights are owned by Italian club Fiorentina.
If the English club succeeds in doing so, it will allow Man United to save around €2.3 million per week, which can be spent on acquiring new players.
