Manchester City midfielder Rodri shared his opinion about the Champions League semifinal match, where the Citizens lost to Real Madrid.
City Xtra quotes Rodri as saying:
Today I've only seen one team. In terms of defending, they defend and they knew how to suffer. We know how tough Real Madrid are, but in my opinion we should have gone through in terms of the chances and everything.
Recall that the meeting was held on April 17 at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester (England) and ended in a draw in regulation time - 1:1. In a penalty shootout Real Madrid won with a score of 4:3 and passed to the semifinals of the tournament, where they will play with Bayern Munich.
