The source indicates that the club is seeking a forward to replace Julian Alvarez, as the Argentine is expected to move to Atletico Madrid. In the summer, the club struggled to find a suitable replacement for Erling Haaland, but they are determined to explore transfer options this winter.
Haaland has been with Manchester City since the summer of 2022. During this time, he has played 102 matches across all competitions, scoring 97 goals and providing 14 assists. His contract with the club runs until the summer of 2027, and according to Transfermarkt, his market value is estimated at €180 million.
