English club Manchester City have officially announced the transfer of 21-year-old defender Joško Gvardiol of German club Red Bull Leipzig.
The player signed a contract with the new team for five years. The transfer amounted to €90 million plus €10 million of bonuses. Thanks to this, Gvardiol became the most expensive defender in history.
In his career, the footballer played 155 matches, in which he scored nine goals and made seven assists. Transfermarkt website estimates the market value of Gvardiol at €75 million.
