French football club Lyon has placed nearly all of its players on the transfer market due to concerns about financial fair play regulations. This was reported by foot01.com, citing L'Equipe.
According to the source, Lyon has communicated to player agents, as well as to clubs in France and across Europe, that almost all of its footballers can be sold if a reasonable offer is made.
Previously, it was determined that Lyon needed to generate €100 million from player transfers before the conclusion of the current summer transfer window. As per Transfermarkt, the total squad value of the club is estimated at €261.5 million.
Last season, Lyon finished in sixth place in the Ligue 1 standings.
