
39-year-old Croatian midfielder Luka Modric is looking to extend his contract with Real Madrid for another season after the current season ends, according to Relevo.
The source indicates that Modric is eager to remain with the los Blancos for another season and is waiting for an offer from the club’s management.
Modric has been with Real Madrid since 2012. This season, he has participated in 39 matches across all competitions, scoring four goals and providing six assists. His contract with the team runs until June 30, 2025, and according to Transfermarkt, his market value stands at five million euros.
Currently, Real Madrid holds second place in the Spanish league standings, with 54 points after 25 matches played.
Earlier, head coach Carlo Ancelotti stated that Luka Modric should play for as long as he wants.
