Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric could make a comeback to Dinamo Zagreb after his contract with the Spanish powerhouse expires at the end of the current season.
The 38-year-old Croatian midfielder previously played for Dinamo from 2002 to 2008. During his 11 and a half years at Real Madrid, Modric won three La Liga titles and five UEFA Champions League trophies.
According to Sata 24, Dinamo Zagreb president Mirko Barisic has already contacted the midfielder with this offer. The player is not in a hurry to make a decision.
Earlier reports indicated that Luka Modric intends to play in the 2026 World Cup with the Croatian national team. Additionally, the midfielder turned down an offer from Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti to join the coaching staff of the Spanish club.
