On February 22, Gerardo Martino's team secured a home victory against Real Salt Lake with a score of 2-0. The 37-year-old star from Uruguay provided an assist, setting up Diego Gomez for a goal in the 83rd minute. With this win, the Herons earned three points and climbed to the top of the Eastern Conference table.
