The head coach of the Spanish national team Luis de la Fuente achieved a unique milestone after his team's victory in the UEFA Euro 2024.
On July 14, the Spanish defeated the English national team 2-1 at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin.
The 63-year-old Spaniard became the first coach to win the European Championship with three different age groups. Alongside the Spanish national team, he also triumphed at the Euros in 2015 (U-19), 2019 (U-21), and 2024 (senior level).
De la Fuente took on his current role in December 2022, succeeding Luis Enrique. Alongside the Spanish team, he also won the UEFA Nations League in the 2022/2023 season.
According to AS, the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) plans to keep de la Fuente in charge until 2028.
