Liverpool and England defender Trent Alexander-Arnold is reportedly looking to acquire the French club Nantes, as reported by L'Equipe.
According to the source, his father, Michael Arnold, who manages his sons' interests through a London-based investment firm, is showing serious interest in the sports business in France.
Before considering Nantes, he also explored the possibility of buying St-Etienne and Le Havre. It is reported that the deal could reach €100 million, with additional bonuses potentially taking it up to €40 million.
However, Nantes' management has currently denied any ongoing negotiations with the Alexander-Arnold family. If the acquisition goes through, it would not be their first investment in sports.
