Le Parisien reported that Liverpool intend to fight with Real Madrid for the right to transfer PSG striker Kylian Mbappe in the summer of 2024.
According to the source, the English team has become the main favorite in the fight for the player amid the unproductive "aggressive" policy of Real Madrid on Mbappe's transfer. Mbappe's move to Liverpool may be influenced by the departure of Mohamed Salah and the Frenchman's good relationship with the team's head coach Jurgen Klopp.
Mbappe, 25, has been playing for PSG since 2017 after transferring from Monaco. The forward has 233 goals and 100 assists in 282 matches for the Parisian team. The Transfermarkt website estimates the market value of the player at €180 million.
