Liverpool Set Club Record with Six Consecutive Away Wins in a Season

According to OptaJoe, Liverpool has achieved a club record by winning their first six away matches of the season, becoming the first team in the English Premier League (EPL) to do so since Manchester City in the 2017/2018 season.

On Wednesday, October 23, Liverpool secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Germany's RB Leipzig in the third round of the UEFA Champions League group stage.

As a result, Arne Slot's team has won all three of their initial Champions League matches and currently sits in second place in the standings with nine points. The English club Aston Villa leads the standings.

In the next round of the Champions League group stage, Liverpool will face Bayer Leverkusen at home on November 5, with the match beginning at 23:00 GMT+3.

Previously, Liverpool defeated London’s Chelsea by a narrow margin in an EPL match. Additionally, manager Arne Slot has become the club's first coach to win nine out of ten matches in the English league.
