Liverpool Set Club Attendance Record

Premier League leaders Liverpool have set a new attendance record for their home matches in the league, according to the club’s press service.

The match in the 23rd round of the Premier League against Ipswich ended with a 4-1 victory, attracting an audience of 60,420 spectators at Anfield Stadium.

Previously, Liverpool did not gather more fans for any of their Premier League matches. The club’s overall attendance record (61,905 people) was set during an FA Cup match in the 1951/52 season against Wolverhampton.
