Former Liverpool and Scotland defender, football pundit Alan David Hansen is hospitalized due to serious health problems, according to the press service of the team.
According to information from the Reds, the club is communicating with the family of 68-year-old Hansen to provide the necessary support and wishes their former player a speedy recovery.
Hansen played for Liverpool from September 1977 to March 1991, appearing in 614 matches, scoring 14 goals and making 19 assists. The English club was the last in Hansen's professional career.
