Winger for Athletic Bilbao and the Spanish national team Nico Williams has caught the attention of several top clubs in Europe, as reported by Marca. Liverpool, Chelsea, Bayern Munich, and PSG are considering the possibility of signing him.
Williams' contract includes a release fee of €58 million. On July 8th, Barcelona's president Joan Laporta also expressed his intention to sign Williams. The Catalan club does not plan to participate in an auction and will attempt to convince the player through other means.
At Barcelona, Williams would reunite with his friends Lamine Yamal, Ferran Torres and Pedri. The club is also willing to guarantee him a place in the starting lineup.
In the previous La Liga season, the 21-year-old player played in 31 matches, scoring five goals and providing 11 assists.
