Liverpool has announced the transfer of midfielder Jordan Henderson to Arabian side Al-Ettifaq for £12 million.

As his Anfield chapter now comes to a close with a move to Al-Ettifaq in Saudi Arabia, everybody at Liverpool Football Club wishes to place on record their thanks and gratitude for everything Jordan Henderson did for the club during his 12 years as a Red.
The footballer joined Liverpool in 2011, moving from Sunderland. During this time he played 492 games - the 15th place in the history of the club. He also scored 33 goals and gave 58 assists.
In total the midfielder spent 12 seasons with the Reds, eight of which as captain. Henderson won eight trophies with the team, including the victory in the championship of England in 2020 and triumph in the Champions League in 2019.
