Inter Miami forward Lionel Messi has shared his thoughts on the athletic goals of the American team.
Messi said in an interview with journalist Fabrizio Romano:
Hopefully, we can win MLS Cup and lift another title. Not only on a personal level, but especially for the club that did so much to make it happen. This is vital for the club’s growth, especially with the way the championship-caliber squad was built. That comes from our ownership. That is their philosophy, to always want more. We want to keep winning and competing in everything that is at stake.
In 20 matches in 2024, playing for Inter Miami in all competitions, Messi has scored 20 goals and provided 11 assists.
Earlier, Messi was named the league's best player for October.
