2024 Copa America winner Lionel Messi has returned to training with Inter Miami following a badly sprained right ankle injury he had during the Copa America final against Colombia on July 14.
The 37-year-old star completed individual drills before joining his Miami teammates on the field for his first public. However, there has been no official date to when the seven-time Ballon d'Or winner will return to the pitch. Messi has also not been selected by Argentina to play in World Cup qualifiers in early September.
Messi has 12 goals and 13 assists in 12 MLS games with Inter Miami this season.
