Spanish Barcelona and Poland striker Robert Lewandowski, 35, has revealed how much longer he plans to play professionally.
Sport quoted Lewandowski as saying:
I don’t think about what I’ve already won or what I’ve already done. I still have that feeling and that passion inside me. I think I can still play football for three or four years, because physically I feel very good.
Robert Lewandowski moved to Barcelona from Bayern Munich in the summer of 2022. In the season-2022/23 the Pole played 60 matches for the club in all tournaments, scoring 41 goals and making 12 assists. In September 2023, the player set a record for the Blaugrana players in the new century. The striker scored 35 goals in 50 matches for the team.
In the current season, the Pole took part in 17 matches in all tournaments, in which he scored eight goals and made four assists. The player's current agreement with the club runs until the end of June 2026. Transfermarkt website estimates the value of the player at €30 million.
Earlier there was information that Lewandowski may leave Barcelona before the expiration of his contract, as well as the fact that the player may return to Borussia Dortmund.
