Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski has become the first player in Champions League history to score more than ten goals in a single season while playing for three different clubs.
He set this record during the first quarter-final match against his former team, Borussia Dortmund. The match ended in a 4-0 victory for Barcelona, with Lewandowski contributing one of the goals, bringing his total score in this tournament to 11 goals.
Prior to this achievement, no player had managed to score more than ten goals in a season while representing three clubs (Borussia Dortmund, Bayern Munich, and Barcelona).
As of now, the 36-year-old Lewandowski has scored 105 goals in the Champions League, placing him third on the tournament's all-time scoring list, behind only Cristiano Ronaldo (140 goals) and Lionel Messi (129 goals).
