Laporta Insults la Liga and RFEF Officials During Athletic Bilbao Match

Barcelona's president, Joan Laporta, had an emotional outburst after the Spain's National Sports Council's (CSD) decision to temporarily allow the registrations of Dani Olmo and Pau Victor for the 2024/2025 season, as reported by Marca.

According to the source, when Laporta learned about the players' registration, he repeatedly exclaimed, "Sons of wh*res!" directed at officials and representatives of La Liga and the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), who had previously rejected the registrations of Olmo and Victor.

It was noted that when Laporta saw the presidents of the territorial federations, he couldn't contain himself and repeatedly exclaimed, "You rats! Cowards!" Then he kicked an object in the VIP box where he was during the semifinal match of the Supercopa de España against Athletic Bilbao.

Reports indicate that Joan Laporta's words were recorded by cameras in the VIP box at the King Abdullah Sports City stadium in Jeddah, where the semifinal match took place. The match ended with Barcelona defeating Athletic Bilbao 2-0.

Earlier, Spain's National Sports Council (CSD) authorized the temporary registrations of Dani Olmo and Pau Victor for La Liga, the Cup, and the Supercopa de España, despite La Liga and RFEF’s refusal.
