Lamine Yamal Repeats Record For Most Assists At Euros

The 17-year-old Spanish forward Lamine Yamal made an assist for forward Nico Williams in the 47th minute of the final match of the European Championship-2024 with England (1:0, the second half is underway).

Thus, the young winger noted for seven games at the current Euro four goal assists, repeating the record for one championship.

Recall that the same indicator added four more players: Wales midfielder Aaron Ramsey and Belgium midfielder Eden Hazard (both at the 2016 UEFA EURO), Yugoslavia striker Ljubinko Drulovic (UEFA EURO 2000) and Switzerland midfielder Steven Zuber (UEFA EURO 2021).

Also, Yamal, at the age of 17 years and one day, became the youngest player to play in a Euro or World Cup final.
