Forward of the Spanish national team Lamine Yamal has been named as the best young player of the 2024 European Football Championship, according to the official UEFA website.
The winger from Barcelona, who at the age of 17 years and one day became the youngest player ever to play in a Euro or World Cup final, played seven matches in the tournament, scoring one goal, and providing four assists.
In the final game, where Luis de la Fuente's team defeated England 2-1, Yamal assisted Nico Williams for the goal in the 47th minute.
