Real Madrid striker Kylian Mbappe has informed the French national team coaching staff that at this stage of his career he intends to focus on club appearances aiming to win the Ballon d'Or in 2025.
According to Footmercato, Mbappe plans to participate only in significant national team matches to reduce the risk of injury. Back during the UEFA Nations League games in September, the player announced that he would miss the October training camp. Earlier it was reported that he would not join the team due to the fact that he had not completed his recovery from injury.
The 25-year-old moved to Real Madrid last summer from the French club PSG.
