A group of fans of the Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain, known as the Collectif Ultras Paris (CUP), has instructed its followers not to show negativity towards forward Kylian Mbappe during matches until his official departure.
As reported by L'Equipe newspaper, this decision by the CUP is based on the trust between the 25-year-old Parisian forward and the fans, both of PSG and the French national team. Specifically, it was clarified that PSG fans will not boo the player during matches. There is no precise information on how the ultras' behavior may change if Mbappe's departure from the club is officially announced.
On February 19, the Spanish newspaper Marca reported that Mbappe will join Real Madrid in the summer of 2024. On February 23, La Liga president Javier Tebas stated that the likelihood of this transfer is estimated at 99%.
In the 2023/2024 season, Mbappe played in 20 Ligue 1 matches, scoring 21 goals and providing four assists. Additionally, the Frenchman scored four goals in seven Champions League matches. Transfermarkt values the player at €180 million.
