Napoli winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has not accepted a new contract offer from the Neapolitans with a salary of €5m a year, according to Corriere dello Sport.
According to the source, the player had a meeting with the management of Napoli, following which the player asked to give him time to think about the offer. The next meeting between the parties will be held at the end of Euro-2024. The agreement proposed to the player is designed for five years with a gradual increase in salary up to €7 million per year.
Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis said at a meeting with the player's entourage that the club will not sell Kvaratskhelia and will offer him a new contract. Kvaratskhelia has been playing for Napoli since July 2022.
