Former Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos shared his thoughts on who he believes will win the La Liga title this season.
Kroos stated on the podcast Einfach mal Luppen:
Real Madrid will win the league, I have no doubt. There will be a fight for second place. Atletico Madrid will beat Barcelona.
After three matches this season, Barcelona has accumulated nine points and holds the top position in the standings. Real Madrid earned four points from two games and is currently in sixth position, while Atlético sits fourth with five points after three matches.
Last season, Real Madrid secured the Spanish championship title, with Barcelona finishing in second place.
Earlier, Kroos announced his retirement from professional football in a letter, where he also evaluated his chances of winning the Ballon d'Or this year.
