Alonso joined Krasnodar from the Brazilian club Atletico Mineiro during the winter transfer window of 2023. He played 41 matches in the RPL for the southern club, scoring one goal.
Thanks to the victory over Dynamo Moscow, Krasnodar secured second place in the RPL, accumulating 56 points in 30 matches and surpassing the capital club in head-to-head results. The silver medals mark the best result for Krasnodar in their entire history in the Russian championship.
